the best place to start your tour of Nauvoo is the Nauvoo visitor’s
center. It is free and during the week it is open from
9 a.m. -5 p.m., and on Saturdays it opens from 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. They have lots of information here on most of
the historic sites found in town. You can also start several different types of Nauvoo tours from the here. More information can be found by visiting the Great Rive Road website.
