Old Nauvoo Burial Grounds

Location: Parley Street, two miles east of Main Street
Always Open, no cost.

Many of the early Saints were buried here after the Durphy Street cemetery closed. Many graves have no headstones, so there is a memorial structure within the grounds with the names of many of those Saints who are buried there but have no grave markers.

The statue of a grieving family at the within the burial grounds represents and honors the families who lost children.
