RENDEZVOUS IN OLD NAUVOO
A
funny musical show that is about the story of the Latter-Day Saints
that founded Nauvoo. It is performed by the senior tour guides, and is a
perfect event for the family.
Location: Cultural Hall
Time: Monday - Saturday year round, 7 PM to 8 PM (possible other showing at 8:15 PM if demand)
JUST PLAIN ANNA AMANDA
This show is children-oriented, but will certainly be enjoyed by the
entire family. The show begins with a puppet show that is sure to make
you laugh. Singing along is encouraged! There is also deeper meaning
to the show as Anna-Amanda recognizes her self-worth.

HIGH HOPES AND RIVER BOATS
This musical tells the story of immigrants who came to Nauvoo via the
Mississippi River on the Maid of Ohio (a paddle boat). Their story
gives you a sense of devotion that the early settlers had. This musical
features young performers that were carefully chosen from all across
the United States, so don’t miss this one!
Location: Historic Nauvoo Visitors’ Center, West Theater
Time: May 25 - Aug 10, Mon-Sat 2:30-3:30 PM and 4:30-5:30 PM

SUNSET BY THE MISSISSIPPI
This one hour shows is performed as the sun sets over the Mississippi
River. You will probably see many of the senior tour guides that you
met throughout the day perform, joined by some very talented younger
people.
Location: Historic Nauvoo Outdoor Theater
Time: May 28 - Aug 13, Mon-Sat evening at 7:00 PM; Brass Band Concert
pre-show at 6:30 PM and children’s parade at 6:50 PM.
NAUVOO BRASS BAND
They play on a special horse-drawn wagon! What isn’t to like! The
band features many musicians from across the country. Catch the band as
they pass by on the streets of Nauvoo, catch one of their daily
concerts, or see them in the evening during their Sunset By the
Mississippi performance.

THE NAUVOO PAGEANT
This performance tells the story of Nauvoo and the people who lived
there during the 1840s. It pays tribute to the Prophet Joseph Smith and
the great achievements that the people who lived there accomplished.
Location: Pageant Stage
Time: July 9 - Aug 3, Tuesday through Saturday at 8:30 PM, come early
and participate in the Pageant Country Fair for fun and games for the
entire family, 7:00 PM
